We develop campuses systematically and responsibly to be able to offer modern, innovative and suitable space solutions to our owner customers. We want to implement space solutions in cooperation with our customers. We regularly discuss campus and real estate strategies with our owner universities.
We are clarifying our operating models for our customer and owner interfaces, as well as the related roles and tools. This ensures that our customers and the users of our premises can contact us smoothly and receive high-quality service. We challenge our customers to find the most functional space solutions for themselves on our campuses. Based on our vision, we provide our customers with information and various real estate solution options they can use for developing their operations.
We use utility indicators to demonstrate the added value and usefulness of our operations and to verify the responsibility of our solutions in a transparent manner, taking into account environmental, economic and social considerations. We are developing and renewing our cooperation and partnership networks.
We are strengthening our operating models to find new uses for vacant premises. By ensuring a high occupancy rate at our premises, we are able to secure annual dividends for our owners. We develop our property portfolio in a resource-efficient and responsible way, and we consider the possibilities of modifying the buildings to meet the future space needs of our customers. We are in constant dialogue with our owners about the development of our real estate assets.
The preparation of SYK’s new strategy took place in policy discussions and strategy workshops that involved our executive management and the company’s Board of Directors and owners. The strategy is to support the company’s owners’ reasons for owning shares in SYK.
Annual campus and premises strategy discussions were adopted as the new operating model for meetings between SYK and its university owners.
